• Yes. This monitor will support HD and 4K HDMI inputs from any video source. My concern would be that you also need a sound bar or other audio device.

• It will work as a TV due to it having 3 hdmi ports, however this monitor has a tn panel and because of this doesnt have a very good viewing angle. So if your planning on laying in bed to watch TV I would suggest a ips or va monitor for better viewing angles.
