• The 849 version has a slight factory overclock. For $50 savings you can simply OC the 799 version yourself.

• Clock speed. The default one is clocked at 2730 MHz and the more expensive one is clocked at 2760 MHz. My advice is save the $50 unless the default version isn't available or buy the Strix version for $150 more. The Strix version has additional LED lighting but depending on how your card is positioned you might not be able to see the additional lighting.
