Worked with my M1 Macbook Air, so i would say it should with your M1 Macbook Pro as they share the same hardware minus the active cooling fan. I was also able to connect my Macbook Air via the USB C cable & the monitor was able to charge my Macbook as well while outputting video. Hope this helps!
