• Good morning, ASUS did use Mediatek WiFi and I am getting 2400 Mbps link speed using a 6E router.

• I have to strongly disagree with the commenter that railed at the Mediatek modem 6e modem and longed for the equivalent Intel part. In a recent WiFi speed test by a video reviewer that I trust, the top speed was gotten by a laptop using the Mediatek. In fact the winner was the Asus big-sister to this laptop. The Intel WiFi 6e modems came in a close second place.

• Sadly it goes with Mediatek and it is NOT replaceable. It is a serious defect that if performs way worse than Intel networking.
