The issue with connecting a USB hub to the USB port is two-fold: 1) you're relying on whatever excess power is left from charging the Ally to also power the hub unless your hub has a separate wall plug, and 2) the usb controller may not be good enough to power multiple peripherals at once. You can take your chances, but I recommend Bluetooth peripherals if at all possible. Otherwise, you can also wait for third party or even first party (Please, ASUS?) dock options that generally come with multiple usb ports as well as HDMI and other ports. Hope that helps!
