I left the 512GB drive intact as the OS drive and installed a 2TB drive in the empty M2 slot for programs and storage. There is also room for one 2.5" and one 3.5" drive. Mine came with one SATA connector and additional modular power connectors. The motherboard supports up to six SATA devices. I got my M2 drive on sale at Amazon for $89. 1TB drives start around $50.
