This device has 16GB of onboard RAM and an additional slot for another 16GB of RAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ATTENTION: This laptop is a great laptop. I'm not just saying that, although the stock options are limiting in resource use and overall potential. What I mean by that is this unit comes with 1 16GB unit soldered onto the motherboard. You have an additional slot to add up to another 16GB RAM to the system. This is where it gets tricky... Most programs/games, etc are "optimized" for utilizing multiple RAM lanes to output best performance. When I initially got this laptop I would get about 60-80FPS in games (games tested: R6 Siege, TC: Wildlands, Fallout 4, etc). I eventually upgraded the laptop with another 16GB RAM unit that MATCHES the specs of the current RAM unit on the motherboard and it almost DOUBLED the performance of the laptop and gaming FPS. I now get about 130-170 FPS on most games. This is a great gaming laptop, but out of the box it is limited per the one RAM lane being utilized. You'll need to utilize both RAM lanes to see its full potential. I hope this helped. Happy computing :)
