“Has anyone had issues with this laptop having lack of sound? I just received it today and knew something was wrong when I couldn’t hear Corona. After trying updating drivers etc I am now restoring it and totally disappointed...”

For a laptop this thing has GREAT audio! You may have a defective unit! I would talk to Best Buy and see if you can swap it out for a new one!

Restore resolved sound issue but locked up on setup @ network and once I got it back on it displayed a message in the top left that I very first saw when turning it on for the first time, and then again, no sound when I got to Cortana. Displayed “ operating system did not shut down cleanly”. Little disappointed in this laptop overall..
