“I like drawing, I am thinking about bringing my drawings to life so I'll be getting into animation and video editing (as a hobby). Would this be a good laptop for that and Cyber security classes? if not which laptop would you guys recommend? Thank you”

Hello Jay, Yes this would we great BUT you said you like drawing. Please note that this screen is not touch screen and it does not support a stylus.
