“I would like to ask, the spec that is available in my country comes with 8GB of ram and it is soldered on. However I like to add another 8GB, is it okay if I add a different brand of ram like HyperX since Asus doesn't specify what ram brand that's on it.”

• I make a little research and I think it would not be any problem if this laptop comes with the extra slot for the SDRAM. You can even upgrade it up to 32gb. At least that it what is said in the asus web page.
