“I'm looking to install my IPVanish VPN service on a router. Can you tell me how much the VPN degrades your speed with this router? I currently have a Netgear R6400v2 and it tanks my internet speed from 100MB to 10-12MB.”

I saw little degradation with this router. Internet speed from ISP is 940Mbps, I typically get mid-700s to mid-800s outside VPN (via 5Ghz WiFi or hardwired) and high 600s with the VPN. There’s a difference, but it’s not noticeable.

Im running four 4k tvs, two gaming systems, one computer, and three cell phones. As long as your modem can keep up, this router will push everything in your house plus some.
