Why no firewall and is that safe? null

Firewalls are always there and may restrict gaming. This uses a software setting (AIPro) that is also where you set the parental controls.

This router has a firewall with DoS protection plus you also get AiProtection which includes Malicious site blocking, Two-IPS, Infected Device Prevention and Blocking, and Parental Controls.
