Do I need a Modem if I get this router ? Is for gaming null

Yes you still need a modem for it and this is definitely for gaming. Its Asus top of the line gaming router with tons of features. Its ideal for a big area and you need a good spot to put it on because its pretty big and has no wall mount holes. Hope this helps.
