My Asus 11000 covers the whole house and outside of my house. I have a great signal in my cul de sac and all the way to the edge of my backyard. no problems at all. Definitely worth the money.

The AX11000 will give you full benefit of your Spectrum service ( I have the 100/10 service and I get 112/12 with it). Wired is better than wireless. The AX11000 also has a 'game boost' mode that will prioritize your game traffic over all other, to further enhance it. It has some other neat features for gamers as well- ROG stands for 'Republic Of Gamers', it was designed with gamers in mind first and foremost. Sheesh, I sound like I work for ASUS, but I don't. I just bought one of these and so far am very pleased with it.

Lag and glitches could be your laptop's software or hardware. This router is perfect for multiple users on the same wireless network. This router wont speed up your laptops capability for playing games. Sounds like your software or hardware is having issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this router with Spetrum 300mb speed and my son was still getting lag but his room is on the 2nd floor at the other end of the house, and my router is in the downstairs living room. I had to use ethernet cable from router to his PS4, after that no lag. I would suggest you use a ethernet cable for best speeds and no lag but, wifi might work for you since the router would be closer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dono spectrum wifi the tower one is better than a ac 1200 router as far as range. No wifi will 100 percent not drop packets, so the answer to your question is no. If you plug your laptop into lan then yes. This wifi router is better than spectrums as far as range. It can also do 90 mbps on 2.4 ghz, which is a stronger less easily interrupted signal. So the packet loss you would see that close is almost 0, but unless you shielded your router and laptop then there's always a small chance something interferes with it. All electronics by law have to accept interference from outside sources.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you update your laptops drivers? As there is a known item for a router like this select drivers need to be updated to improve the performance between device and router
