The question is a little 'odd' in that Routers are typically designed to operate normally regardless of internet service provider brand. Perhaps you mistaken a router for a carrier modem; modems on the other hand, are designed to work on a specific carrier's network and are extremely dependent on whIch carrier you use. The technical expectation is that this router will work AT&T internet service. So long as AT&T's modem (or fiber terminal) interface meets the interface standards Set by the IETF, it will work.
