I have this model and.I installed the Crucial 96GB 5600MHz RAM kit. Out of caution, I also put in thin RAM heatsinks on both sides since these are dual-sided. Been working fine for the last couple weeks. Runs at 5200MHz by default.

Please try again later.I installed as suggested by others, 2 SODIMM's DDR5, 5600MHz, 48GB, Non-ECC, CL46 and a second nvme ssd of 4tb, so my laptop has now 96 gb of ram and 6 tb of disk drives using nvme 2280 4. Runs great!! (the memory is running at 5200 mhz as others stated, but that is fine for me)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.strix G18 2024 laptop supports 5600. Not sure why it's being told 4800 as this was the speed for last year's model. Also, I have heard you can upgrade it to 64GB but ASUS officially states only 32GB.

It has 2 memory slots, and the standard memory is either 8 or 16GB DDR5 4800MHz, which is removable. For storage, the laptop has two SSD slots, which is M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4. It can support a maximum of 4TB of SSD, divided by 2TB per slot.
