“Can the hdmi output 2k at 120fps ? Or do I have to use the USB-C to get the best video output quality ? Also is the HDMI connected to the RX6800m or the IGPU & what difference does that make if any ?”

• HDMI according to the ASUS site is only HDMI2.0 and I believe you need HDMI2.1 to output 120.

• About 10% performance. You should use the USB-C for best performance. It's connected to the 6800M. The HDMI is connected to the iGPU.
