“Would I be able to swap the 1050 out for something a bit beefier in the future with little issue? Something like a 1070 ti or maybe a 1080? Planning to buy this as a starter PC but I'd like to be able to upgrade it in the future.”

yes it will hold an 1080 you will use two molar power connections to use this will max out computer, with two hard drives sata, and graphics card
