Yes, it is a great monitor for both. I first was using 2 Nividia GeForce GTX 1080Ti in my system until the RTX 2080Ti came out. Combine the monitor & 2080Ti with the monitors built in Nvidia G-Sync, Nothing compares or even comes close to the detailed picture quality, you can't get any better.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, in most AAA titles you'll need 2 2080 ti's to get anywhere near 120 fps. You might even need to tweak your settings a little bit. However, if you play Destiny 2, a 2080 ti will get you 110-120 fpas at 4k highest. So this monitor is great for Destiny 2.

Then the only weak link would be your CPU set up and RAM. An i7-7xxx or higher CPU should be able to do it for sure. i5...maybe...and forget i3...
