QuestionDoes this laptop have the same overheating and throttling issues of the previous G14 from last year with a Ryzen 9 and RTX 2060? I remember steering clear of that laptop because the internals would get too hot with such powerful hardware and be unusable.

- Answer If you internet connection is fast enough to support streaming then this computer can pretty much handle whatever you want to toss at in terms of gaming and streaming. But it gets warm and the fans will kick on fairly quickly.

- Answer If you are willing to fix a few settings in the BIOS, yes. The default BIOS settings (Secure Boot IIRC) don't let you install Linux, but if you change that, then yes.

QuestionWhat's the refresh rate on the display. It's not in the specs. I'm considering getting it. Disappointed about it only being 1080p but the refresh rate is what will ultimately determine if I choose to get it or not.

- Answer There's software that comes with it called Armory Crate. It lets you adjust how much power you can set between the CPU and GPU.

QuestionI haven’t received this laptop yet, however I was curious if this would be compatible with the samsung odyssey monitor, razer death adder v2 wired mouse, and razer huntsman elite wired keyboard. I ordered all this in hopes it would be compatible.

- Answer There are sufficient ports for you to use that equipment. Make sure you use the Type-C port on the side and *not* the HDMI port to connect the display as the Type C port connects directly to the RTX 3060, but the HDMI port, like the laptop's display, is wired through the iGPU to save power.

QuestionDoes this laptop have a built-in mic? I know it doesn't have a webcam but I thought there is a mic since voice input worked when setting it up for the first time, but I can't get any sound input to work without plugging in an external microphone.

- Answer On the keyboard you'll see the mic on/off button next to the Armor Crate access button. Did you try that button? When I hit mine is pops up on the screen "Microphone Off" or "Microphone On". So i'm positive it does.

QuestionI bought the rog zephyrus 14 with me being stuck at 60 fps on overwatch on high settings and my average fps for league of legends only being around 100 fps when it should be way more than that. I would love to know if there any way to fix this?

- Answer It might be because you have it on a lower setting in armoury crate or you could be stuck on the internal GPU instead of the dedicated GPU (doubt it but possible).
