“I had a G15 w/3070 from last year (WQHD 165hz). This year, I’m considering G14 since it has WQXGA 120hz display. I like that aspect ratio better for work. Is the 6700s (or 6800s) considered equal or better than 3070 80w? 6900hs throttle G14 v G15?”

the 6700s on paper is equivalent to the 3060 from 2021. Owning a 3070 2021 i can say real world that the 3070 from last year beats this 6700s in real world performance to the point its actually bad. No DLSS really hurts. Ray tracing is terrible in comparison. The rest is great but i would say graphical capacity is that of a 3060 minus the nvidia stuff. Also remember any video encoding sucks badly due to the amd hardware encoding protocol being so poor.

When your G15 finally goes out then I would consider it. Also, I would think that this laptop would perform the same to your G15 because they can both boost up to 100w (The G14 can go slightly higher 105w but that's not a big difference). So I would just hold on to your G15 for now. As for your last question I really don't understand what your trying to ask.
