QuestionIs the 16gb 8gb soldered and 8gb in slot, or 16gb soldered?

- Answer half the ram is soldered, so on this model, it would be 8GB soldered, 8GB in an upgradeable DIMM. On the 32 GB model, 16GB is soldered, and 16GB is in an upgradeable DIMM.

- Answer The issue is not the RAM. The price is crazy high due to the GPU and CPU chip shortage. Eventually it will go back to normal and the price will go down but now nope the market is garbage
