• This model of the G14 actually will support 48GB of ram. Just installed 32GB stick of Crucial Ram. Now have 48GB of Quad Channel DDR5 Ram. Laptop runs so much better and a lot smoother! Your mileage may vary however, rest assured it will support more than 16GB of ram in the empty sodimm slot.

• YES and no. YES, you can upgrade to 32GB of memory, NO you cannot go higher. There is 16gb of pre installed, SOLDERED on. You can install a second stick of 16gb of ram to make a total of 32. a 16GB DDR5 4800MHz stick of SO-DIMM memory should do the trick.
