They are not the same materials (keys, touch pad, top frame) and the color is a tad different depending on the viewing angles.  For me, I don't see why that would be an issue?

Check is the processor and graphics card. I ordered the 2023 G14 and noticed that the keyboard and the ROG emblem on the front are the wrong color, aka from the 2022 G14. Just to make sure I checked the graphics card and the processor and what do you know, they are the 2022 G14. All they did was replace the processor and graphics card stickers and returned it, best buy and geek squad didnt even do the quick check of systems setting, what a joke.

Mine matches. I did change the LED color so that I can see the keyboard better. The white on white makes it hard during the day to see the labels.
