Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good news, actually. In a recent online video showing WiFi wireless connection speeds of a large bunch of laptops to a high-end WiFi 6e router, thr Zephyrus G14 sccored about 1.5 Gb/s and that’s only 8% lower than the winner of that contest. Incidentally, the G14 uses the same WiFi 6e Mediatek modem that is used in the winner of this particular test (another Asus laptop). Also note that Best Buy specs are wrong here, it’s WiFi 6e not WiFi 6. It turns out the best routers these days throttle you to a bit over 1.5 gigabits, even if your ISP might give you 2.5 gigabits. For better than that you may need to wait a year or two til WiFi 7 is supported. (You can probably upgrade your modem then)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It means you can connect up to Wi-Fi 6. It does not mean you'll automatically get 2.5 gigs of internet download speed. That is ultimately up to your Internet Service Provider, ISP (e.g., Comcast), plan, and router. Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, better known as Wi-Fi 6, grants you the ability to connect to that.
