Depends on what you’re using it for and what fan setting you have on. That being said, yeah they usually run hot, every gaming laptop I’ve had has run hot. As a whole, I think they’ve gotten better over time w/ heat but it still is pretty noticeable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the bottom of the laptop can get hot, but I've never experienced the main keyboard getting hot itself. If so far you have only used it for work I would suggest having someone from geek squad look at it, or get a fan for the laptop to sit on while you use it. Just my personal opinion
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would put it on some sort of cooling pad. I would pay more attention to the power adapter. I touched this the other day and it was extremely hot to the touch.

Reddit has a dedicated ASUS G14 subreddit forum that will guide you through this process. Generally speaking, it is expected for a 14” laptop to run a little warm and hot under heavy loads given its chassis size + power consuming components.
