When unplugged the fans default to being off as long as you’re not doing anything intensive like gaming or editing. So pretty quiet. You can also change some settings in the armory crate app so it stays silent when unplugged. There is a boot up sound like a sword unsheathing which is weird when I’m in class and turn it on. Not sure how to turn it off yet, might be a setting in the BIOS.
