• A:Answer No, the 2025 Model G14 with RTX5080 uses an optimized heatpipe based cooling solution with their "Tri-Fan technology." Which as far as I can tell means they have an extra fan for airflow in the chassis and cooling the vrms. From what it looks like in their marketing the heat pipes are isolating the CPU and GPU so it should be just as good or better than previous models vapor chambers at the expected wattage.

• A:Answer Yes and No. You can order the 2025 G14 in different configurations with the maximum RAM being 64GBs. However, if you order a lower configuration, you cannot then later upgrade the RAM capacity yourself as the RAM is soldered and not on removeable modules. so it is highly recommended to order the model that has the specs you need.
