Can the ram in this pc be upgraded? null

No it cannot, the RAM is soldered into the motherboard.

My understanding is that the GA403UI-DS91A has all SODIMM slots soldered (8+8GB). However, the GA403UI-DS92-CA has two slots, and only one is soldered in place. Each slot comes with 16GB populated in the 92-CA. The chipset can support higher than 32GB, so in theory, you could put 32 GB in the one unsoldered slot, giving you a total of 48 GB. The downside (which is actually a good thing) is that this supports dual channel memory, much faster than single channel memory. If you don't use identically sized SODIMMs, you will not use dual channel. So for max speed, keep it at 32GB, or for more Ram but at slower bandwidth, use 16GB+ 32GB.
