It is better than last years model. I too returned one. It was the first Asus that I returned. I have bought 4 over the last 5 years. Really pleased overall. But this model can run hot at times. But not to like the previous model. I am extremely happy I upgraded my memory to 32. I am not sure It would have been as smooth of a ride. I like to leave applications open to a fault.
