• It's actually up to 40 GB according to a fellow reviewer. 8 GB is soldered to the board, the other memory slot can be expanded with a 32 GB stick

• This machine has 8GB soldered to the motherboard, and supports up to 24GB of total system RAM. You would need a 16 GB SO-DIMM.

• on Asus's site, it is stated it can have up to 48 gigs of ram. So now I a confused?

• if someone added a stick of 32gb DDR4 SSDIMM 3200 MHz, did they check if it still supports dual channel through CPUZ or hwinfo64 ? please let me know in the comments section..

• the headline says 16gb of ram so this is false advertising and best buy needs to lower price
