“I bought this laptop And I was told by 2 employees that I can upgrade to 32GB of RAM. I was like ok bet. But now Asus only says you can go up to 24GB of RAM. Then others are saying they installed 40gb of ram and crucial says 48 Gb. someone please carify.”

You already have 16, assuming its a 16 gb stick and not (2) 8 gb, you can add another 16 gb for a total of 32. If you want 48, you'll have to get (2) 24 gb sticks of RAM. Good luck with your upgrade!
