QuestionI just bought a new 240hz monitor aw2521hfl and to connect to the monitor I'm using a thunderbolt 3 to displayport cable. The monitor feels like 240hz just like the laptop screen but after about 5 secs everything starts to stutter. Is this a cable issue?

- Answer You can replace the 8G RAM with a 16G, which gives you a total of 24G of RAM. You can add a second SSD. I believe that's it.

QuestionWhat happens if I set the refresh rate to 240 without using the charger? When I connect the charger it automatically goes to 240, without the charger it goes to 60. Would there be a problem if I define 240 with or without charger?

- Answer The maximum refresh of the monitor is a monitor specification, and would not be dictated by the computer itself. However for ultra high refresh rate monitors, a DisplayPort connection is required, which this laptop supports via USB-C.

QuestionContacted Asus today regarding this laptop. Seems you cannot disable the Intel UHD graphics and only use the RTX 2070 Max Q...has anyone else tried to do this? I did and had issues trying to game. ASUS rep said the main GPU is the Intel card.

QuestionLove the laptop but my battery, on a full charge and on silent mode, lasts under 2 hours. Is there something I am missing? Im not gaming unless plugged in.

- Answer The battery life is approximately 8 hours. In order to improve or prolong the battery charged time, please try to do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully-charged, please use the system, without the AC adapter connected, and drain it completely again.Also, please verify if the unit is running with the most current system update and third-party battery draining applications are not running in the background.

- Answer 1. With periodic maintenance and care there shouldn't be a decrease in performance. 2. At 1080p gaming you can get about 139 FPS average. 3. Gaming performance I would suggest I5 with 3060.

- Answer No, that means that the screen is able to refresh 240 times per second. The 2070 Max-Q likely wouldn't hit 240 FPS even with low settings, it is recommended that you review 3rd party benchmarks for a performance estimate prior to purchase.
