• Looking at the information on the website it looks like their is a 32gb option of this same Laptop that comes with 16GB soldered on, so with the purchase of a 32GB SODIMM module you would max out at 48GB of ram. However with this Specific model that has 16gb Ram and 8GB soldered on, I am assuming the max Ram physically is going to be 40GB.
