“Will parental controls with this router block adult sites etc even if connected devices like phones and and computers (clients) have their browsers set to DNS over https? How about if devices are using a VPN browser extension? Thanks.”

• Yes, parental control can be enabled and it is capable to block adult websites, configure DNS settings and enable/disable VPN access inside advance settings.

• If a device is using it's own VPN the router will not be able to see what is being accessed and therefor can not protect. You can try to block personal VPN use by blocking IP of VPN access site but many offer multiple sites so this may prove difficult.
