I found the Asus AX5400 (aka RT-AX82U) to cover my 2500 sq/ft home effectively. It is also part of Asus AiMesh, allowing the addition/connection of other Mesh capable devices to expand wifi reach.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ASUS doesn't provide a sq ft estimate as far as I can see, they only say this model is for "Large Homes". But yes, you can use this in tandem with any Asus router to create a mesh network, as long as the router lists "AiMesh" compatibility.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can buy more asus routers and use AIMesh to blanket your home. You will need it. I would get 4 and spread them out but I’d say a minimum of three (or two with dead spots). You can always add more later if you’re willing to spend the $$$.
