• I have not done so, but there is a port that may be used as a second WAN interface and the UI supports setting that up, losing one ethernet port. Does mention using a cellular hotspot in the manual, not more specifically an iPhone teether.

• Yes, the ASUS RT-BE3600 router supports using an iPhone’s internet connection via USB tethering as a backup when the main WAN is unavailable. This feature works with supported firmware versions either between 3.0.0.4.388.23000 and 3.0.0.4.388.29999, or later than 3.0.0.4.388.31900.
