“Why when I call ASUS and Best Buy they say it’s an ips panel but other places I look say va which is it I can’t get a straight answer anywhere”

They have v.a screens have better depth and contrast, ips screens have better color and viewing angles less eye strain. response time is faster on a v.a , , ips is not as costly as a v.a screen but does so much more in viewing. both have their cons and pros, far as panels go you have va ,ips, tn, oled , depending on what you're doing and what you want it to do will determine the screen your after.,
