Q: QuestionAre you able to add a hard drive to this laptop?

• A:Answer Yes, it comes with a 2nd free upgradable m.2 SSD slot. It does not have room for a 2.5 inch HDD/SSD slot though.

• A:Answer Yes but 8GB of ram is not enough for Oculus app and will run into issues. I played a round of H3VR, while it played fine I just couldn't take the lag when tried to go to desktop view.

Q: QuestionWhat is the clock speed of the ram? 2666 or 3200 and if it can be overclocked, to what speed should I upgrade? Can you add more than 32gb ram? And is both ssd slots nvme or the regular? What is the max ssd it can handle?

• A:Answer Installed is Micron 3200; accepts up to 64GB @ 32GB + 32GB. It may be possible to overclock the memory, but would need other software to do it. Storage: both are M.2 NVME M-Key. Max size is what you can afford.

Q: Questionwhy does best buy say 8 gb ram is in medium category. 8gb is lowest you'll find in a gaming laptop they claim the laptop RTX 3050 t.i. is "high-end" capable of MAX SETTINGS.. My desktop 3080 & 12th gen i7 can't always do that. Mobile 3050 is lowest tier.

• A:Answer I believe that the reason why Best Buy has these categories is to help[ those who are not tech savvy and I believe that these categories compare all of the different laptops and chromebooks together. 8gb ram is adequate for basic tasks and gaming, where 4gb would struggle with many games, but are fine with basic tasks. An RTX 3050ti (or any recent dedicated graphics)are much more high end than integrated graphics.

• A:Answer Your 3200MHz RAM should be fine but the m2 SSD is NVMe, not SATA, so I don't think that will work.
