I added a 2TB SSD to the system second slot thereby getting the original 512GB plus the 2TB. I suspect you can have 2 2TB SSD's but you'll have to mirror the original drive to one 2TB SSD to get all the software onto the 2TB SSD and then add the second SSD.

Haven’t had any hiccups so far just make sure you either back up your os or copy your system files over to a flash drive or partition. I did not do this fully and lost all my data and drivers. Luckily I did back up the os at least.
