“How well is the memory on here? Does this laptop not have a memory card slot for an SD stick? For college level documents, occasional streaming apps, and a few video games such as minecraft which usually take a lot of memory will this be a good fit?”

The memory is OK. But if you'd need more, memory is cheap and the easiest part to remove and install on a laptop, I've upgraded to 32 gigs and it was simple, but even someone who doesn't know what they are doing, you can find a easy step by step video on YT! Otherwise it's an amazing laptop for under 1000$

The RAM is upgradeable if system performance becomes an issue running mutiple applications simultaneously. It doesn't have a memory card slot.
