I put the intel fan in no problem. I think what you really need to think about is the layout of all the other cards you plan putting in and the size of your case so you know if it will protrude or not

It fits but the only problem is that if you want to mount it regularly (fan side facing the front of PC, then you will lose one slot on the RAM because it covers the far most left slot. But if you're going to use only 2 sticks of RAM, then it will work because you have to use slot #2 and 4 first (that's what I do, have 2 x 16gb). If you're planning on mounting the fan where the fan is facing up or down then it probably will fit but it will cover even more ram slots.
