• This USB device replaces a WIFI card in your PC. The only down side of this device with respect to a WIFI Card is that the antenna is very small and placed entirely within the USB plug in. A WIFI card requires a modest (usually 3-4" tall) antenna to be attached to the outer plate on the WIFI card. Therefore the range of the WIFI card will be a bit better than this USB adapter. But if you are operating a WIFI router in your home and it is not far from your PC - this little USB adapter is more than adequte
