Hello, This is a difficult question to answer. Your PC and wireless adapter are fine because if they were having an issue it would happen even with the mobile hot spot. So what I would do is unplug your wireless router then unplug your modem and give them both a good 30 minutes to rest. Then plug your modem back in, wait 10 minutes then plug back in your wireless router. Connect your PC wireless again and see if it is stable. If you still have an issue call your ISP and have them check things on their end. If problem still persist unplug your modem again, wait 10 minutes, plug it back in but make sure it is directly connected to a PC. If the same problem happens your modem is bad, if it is stable your router is bad. CiscoCarnage (Wisconsin Department of Corrects Desktop Support lvl 3)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are a lot of variables involved, so it is difficult to give an exact answer. The most common problems with wireless connectivity are due to range (distance from the wireless access point); & EMI or Electromagnetic Interference. Additionally, keep in mind that you get greater range from the 2.4GHz band than you do from the 5GHz band. It's a trade off, distance for speed. I'd suggest you look at how far your computer is from your router first, & then anything that may affect the radio signal. Wi-Fi is just a radio frequency after all.
