You need wifi adapters. These are two adapters. One plugs into your modem and directly into a wall outlet. The other goes into your gaming system and directly in a wall outlet. Connect your gaming system as you would if you were using an ethernet cable. ( You must plug them directly into a wall outlet. No powerstrips or extension cords can be used)

(No extension cord or power strip) plug the other into a wall outlet and into your gaming system. Change your gaming systems setting from wifi to a wired connection. My modem is upstairs and my game system is in the basement and my signal strength is 100% as if I was connected by ethernet cable.
