It can't. I verified with Asus support that they stupidly built this with a usb 2.0 connector. There's no way to fix this, there is no driver to correct this. Just get your money back.

I 100% agree with others that say this is a massive WASTE of money. With a USB 2.0 connection that maxes out at 480Mbps, what is the point? You do get the 3 band capabilities of WIFI 7, that is true, but none of the performance boost. If you are only talking to your router and your speed is 480 or less, go for it. For anything else, not a chance. This is a terrible and disappointing product from ASUS.
