The answer to your question depends on the radio. Can you plug a USB cable into that same port on the radio and play music from an external device? If so then this adapter should provide the same connection to a bluetooth device. Although it may depend on how you link the device via bluetooth to the adapter. We have two of these plugged into two computers. We use them to connect bluetooth headphones. When I look under Bluetooth in the computer's Device Manager it sees ASUS USB-BT500. It recognized the device and loaded drivers for it. If your radio can't do that then this may not work.
