• If you are buying a computer that can do 240 FPS then you’ll want a monitor with a faster FPS or Hz (basically the same thing). Asus makes a monitor that does 144Hz that is around the same price as this one. Or can spend more and get a 240Hz monitor if doing some serious gaming. This monitor is designed for console systems which only put out 60Hz. Definitely don’t want less FPS than your system is capable of.

• A refresh rate is the number of times your monitor updates with new images each second. For example, a 60 Hz refresh rate means the display updates 60 times per second. A higher refresh rate results in a smoother picture.
