The bells and whistles of that alienware model will not be beneficial to an xbox one, since console games are usually capped to 60fps if they can even run that high. The only thing that would be used is Freensync range of refresh, but both monitors have the option for that so it is really up to you which one you want. This asus monitor has a small external power brick (issue for cable management) and I am unsure if the alienware has one but thats just one peeve of mine about this monitor. Another thing about the asus monitor is that it has built in speakers whereas the alienware does not, which can be nice if you dont have any yourself and simply want easy audio solution. If you truly want that 1ms response then I would suggest the Alienware because the asus seems to be a bit slower with its response time but not by much. Lastly, to me personally, the cost of the asus is the better value rather than the alienware model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately I would be able to offer a comparison. For reference, however the VG245H has 1ms response time; ASUS Eye Care technology; Ergonomic stand; Exclusive GameVisual & GamePlus functions; FreeSync/Adaptive Sync technology with 75 Hz refresh rate for an unparalleled gaming experience.
