Figured out how to get it to work. Turn 'GPU scaling' to off in the AMD drivers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been able to get this running at 75hz. My monitor also shows as generic but runs at the proper refresh rate. Right click your desktop, click display settings. Click Display adapter properties. Then the monitor tab. Change the refresh rate to 75 hertz. Click OK. Go into Radeon Settings and click display. Turn on AMD freesync.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have the same issue. I enabled Freesync using the monitor settings (FPS mode; the go to Image-More-Freesync -> on). I can't get Win10 to see the ASUS monitor; it sees it as a generic pnp monitor. ASUS website doesn't have Win10 drivers. I have the GPU scaling turned off and it still doesn't work (the freesync).
